Silent Terminal Policy

London City Airport now operates a silent terminal policy with no tannoy announcements made throughout the departure lounge.

The new policy means no flight and gate announcements are made, instead all information is displayed on information screens that are located throughout the lounge and restaurants.  Passengers are advised to watch these screens for updates on their flights.

medium_LoungeWith over three million passengers a year flying from London City Airport, the airport’s popularity amongst business and leisure travellers continues to grow. To ensure we continue to provide our award-winning passenger service, the airport has recently undergone substantial improvements.

medium_TaxThe Departure Lounge has been extended to include over 250 additional seats, a new shopping experience, including WH Smith,
and a new lounge featuring high-speed internet points and live sports screens.

medium_city_airport_bar_22.jpgBar Ten 28, our contemporary international
bar, is now open too. Inspired by the airport’s single runway directions, 10 and 28, Bar Ten 28 is a mellow, comfortable and calm environment that’s ideal for work and relaxation. Of course,
just like all the shops and restaurants at
London City Airport, Bar Ten 28 is just a few minutes walk to your departure gate. No need to rush here.
