CityJet, London’s business airline, celebrates an important milestone today by carrying the 25,000th passenger on its service between London City Airport and Nantes. The route, launched in April 2009, has enjoyed a steady rise in passenger traffic, proving a strong addition to the CityJet network

To celebrate the milestone, CityJet introduced a special fare of £59 one way from London City to Nantes for bookings before 22 February 2010*.

Geoffrey O’Byrne White, CEO CityJet, says, ‘We are really pleased to have reached our 12 month target of 25,000 passengers on the Nantes route in just 10 months.  To have done so in such tough trading conditions is a testament to the tenacity of everyone on the CityJet team who has helped make this a success.
CityJet’s two daily flights from London City Airport to Nantes are a valuable link for both business and leisure travellers.  The schedule is timed to enable business travellers to undertake a day's business in either city.  For leisure travellers, Nantes Airport offers a perfect base for the beautiful region of Brittany.   This, teamed with our high levels of service, is clearly a winning recipe for our travellers.’
